I am currently a Web Designer & Developer at the Teaching and Learning Centre at Simon Fraser University and a Web Designer for Make Believe Media. Previously, I was a Web Developer at TransLink from 2008 to 2009, a Web Co-ordinator for Venture Connection Office at Simon Fraser University from 2008 to 2010, a Webmaster at Simon Fraser University at the Surrey campus from 2004 to 2009, and a Teaching Assistant at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology in 2004 to 2008 for a number of undergraduate courses; Narrative and New Media, Digital Photography, Systems of Media Representation and Moving Images. I have a Master of Arts (2008) and a Bachelors of Applied Science (2004) from the School of Interactive Arts and Technology at Simon Fraser University. My two degrees have provided me knowledge in creative direction, project management, interaction design, visual design, user testing, usability, and marketing.




Investigating Forensics

I was the Lead Designer for the Investigating Forensics website made for the Virtual Museum of Canada. The website is a fictional case study for high school students to go through the entire forensics process, from discovering evidence, analyzing data, and identifying the victim. I was part of a team of programmers and designers at the Teaching and Learning Centre at Simon Fraser University.

I designed and developed a website for the Battle of the Bagpipe Documentary produced by the Teaching and Learning Centre at Simon Fraser University. The documentary was aired on CBC TV in Canada.

I designed and developed this website for the documentary film, Abandon Ship: The Sinking of the SV Concordia. The film was aired on CBC's Doc Zone, 2011.

Waiting for Sunday Music

I designed and developed this website for the local Vancouver band, Waiting for Sunday. The website was built into a customizable content management system which members of the band could then update content.

From C to C Website

I designed and developed the website to coincide with the From C to C documentary and learning package which educated high school students about the Chinese Headtax in Canada. The website has a timeline of data which displays video footage and stories from the documentary film. Other elements of the site support social networks and online tools for students to engage with the content.

I designed and produced the main website for Make Believe Media as well as smaller sub websites for individual documentary films produced by the company, including websites for the documentary films "Music is the Medicine", "For the Love of Elephants" and This Wrestling Life".
